The Founder

    Mr. Edwin Prabu Kumar, Founder, Vivegam Godfrey

    As an educationalist, he has completed his BA, MA, and M Phil degrees in Madras Christian College, and his German Language A1 - C1 in Max Mueller Bhavan Chennai, Goethe- Institute, Germany. Now he is doing his PhD. doctoral research on how the Indian caste system affected the development of the churches and society in Tamil Nadu. This project is a combination of History, Philosophy and Theology in the University of Leipzig, Germany.

    As an evangelist, he has been involved with churches and Christian activities from his childhood on. Later he became an active member in UESI part of IFES, SCM, and various mission organizations. Now he has close association with various Protestant churches in Leipzig, Germany.

    As a social worker, he is involved in various social activities in the region like helping blind students for reading and poor student’s education. He also has twelve years of various marketing and business experience, which will help him now, to focusing various social activities in Danishpet and its surrounding 291 villages.

  • Rev. Charles Prabakaran

    Serving as a Presbyter in the CSI Diocese of Madras for the past 28 years. Served as the Director for the Board of Mission and Evangelism for 4 years.

  • Prof.Dr.E.P.S. ThyagrajuProf. Dr. E.P.S. Thyagaraju Taught English Language and Literature at the Graduate and Post Graduate level for thirty five years. Major part of the service being in rural areas, where spoken and communicative forms of English among the learners are very poor, this gave him an insight into the learning process. And gradually he learnt students are not parrots who can be taught to utter a few sentences in acceptable English but complex human beings who need guidance in various problems they are forced to face every day.

    He is a visiting professor for Maritime University (AMET), where Communicative English and counseling are given to the students. He is an active Church member and hold’s various leadership positions in the church of South India.

  • Dr. Leonard Ponraj

    Dr. Leonard Ponraj is an Orthopaedic Sports Medicine specialist. He did his MBBS at the Govt. Stanley Medical College, Chennai and then went on to his D Ortho at Madras Medical College and MS Ortho at Kilpauk Medical College. Subsequently he trained in the UK and completed his MCh. Ortho degree from the University of Liverpool. Later he did fellowships in Arthroscopy & Sports Medicine in Australia, Canada and Germany. He is presently working as an Associate Professor in Orthopaedics with the Govt. of Tamilnadu. 

  • Dr. B. Madhna Reka

    Dr. Madhna Reka is Director for the UGC sponsor center for women studies AJBAS College for women formerly known as SIET.  She has about 14 years of teaching experience and 22 years of research experience in public administration and women studies.              She has undertaken three research projects namely 1. Integrating support services with family court! funded by (NIPCCD), Ministry of women and child development, Government of India.  2. Comparative study of weavers of Kanchipuram and Varanasi in collaboration with working women forum Chennai sponsor by (NCEUS) Government of India. 3. Help statues of working women in Chennai sponsor by UGGC New Delhi. Currently she is conducting three research project sponsors by National commission for women, Government of India.  Entitle, Methods to control the menace of violence against women in India, A comparative study of self help group in India and Property rights of women in Tamil Nadu.                                                                                                                                 She has organized several program seminars workshops for the uplift of women in related to this visited several countries. She was nominated twice by the University of Madras  as the course coordinator  to conduct the UGC Referrers course in Women studies for  the Professors in India during the year 2010 to 2011.                                                                                                                                                    She has published a book entitle Women administer! challenges in the new millennium 2006. And also presented and published several papers and articles on women issues.
  • Mrs. Mercy Peace

    She did her Bachelor and Master in English literature and specialized in air ticketing and travel management and diploma in information system management and in computer.

  • Mr. Mohan Kumar N

    Working as a junior Signaling Engineering, undertook many Location's detail designs for UK Railways.


  • Mr. Suresh Arputharaj

    He is a fabricator in iron and steel, businessman in poultry and real estate. He is involved with old age persons.
